Jonathan is the Managing Partner of Mountside Ventures, the first port of call for founders and funds looking to fundraise, on a mission to optimise the fundraising process.

He splits his time running accelerator programmes for founders and VCs (The Emerging VC Manager Programme), partnering with Series A and B founders on their next round, and identifying top-tier emerging VC managers for Family Offices and Limited Partners.

He qualified with PwC as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and co-founded their early-stage corporate finance practice, and Series A accelerator, whose alumni have raised over £500m with a combined valuation of £3bn, before leaving the firm 3 years ago to set up Mountside.

Why do you support the work of The Entrepreneurs Network?
I spend most of my day advising entrepreneurs on raising capital — across the spectrum of VCs, Family Offices, strategic investors and lenders. I joined the Network to share some of those insights and help input into policy to increase the number of successful entrepreneurs, keep them informed, and of course champion one of the most important groups in accelerating the UK’s growth.
