Founder, agileering and Grow Inspires

Mark Neild is the founder of agileering, a coaching and consulting firm that helps ambitious technical and service businesses to overcome growth barriers by reimagining their business model.

Since leaving corporate life he has worked with over 4000 early stage businesses on 4 continents with clients ranging from individual businesses through government growth agencies and the University of Bristol (2019 best enterprise team in HE) winning Thames Valley Mentor of the Yer in 2015.

Passionate about social inclusion, he founded Grow Inspires, a social enterprise for bringing entrepreneurship interventions to bring inclusion to the socially excluded. One programme, Phoenix, has enjoyed great success with ex-offenders and the long-term unemployed.

He is a teaching fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Bristol, where he harnesses the unfettered creativity of some of the UK's brightest young people to work on projects with real impact. He is a practitioner combining 25 years of innovation in industry with post graduate research into the very latest and most effective ways to teach innovation and release the potential of the socially excluded.
