Kate Jolly

CEO, The Briars Group

In 1991, Kate co-founded The Briars Group – the back office power behind growing entrepreneurial businesses and corporate enterprise, providing high-quality services across the fields of People, Finance, Tax and Administration. Kate identified the lack of support for owners of new businesses and sought to find a way to enable them to focus on business growth rather than compliance. The Briars Group offer a seamless turn-key compliant solution tailor-made to fit your needs so that you can focus on business objectives.

More than 1,000 clients located across 50 countries spread from the UK into: mainland Europe; the Americas; Africa and the Middle & Far East are witness to decades of proven support that wraps around them – One team; One time-zone; One language = One Solution!

Away from Briars, Kate has found a home for her ideas by becoming a founder member and later as Master of The Guild of Entrepreneurs as well as involvement with mentoring and coaching of corporate boards focussed on growth or turnaround.

Kate also sits as Chair for Arkema Bostik Pension Trustee Limited a role she has been active in for over 5 years and lastly as a Director of The Cambridge Centre for Applied Research in Human Trafficking (CCARHT) which facilitates multi-agency, cross departmental, inter and intra-university research efforts to respond to the multiple challenges of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery in all its global and local realizations.

In her spare time Kate enjoys walking her two dogs, spending time with her two sons and off-roading. She admits to being a terrible cook but does love good company and good wine!
