Female Founders Forum
The Female Founders Forum is a group of some of the UK's most successful female entrepreneurs. Last year, we brought these figures together to address the finance gap. In 2017/18 we are building on the enthusiasm for practical ways to support women's entrepreneurship, connecting our members with some of the UK's most ambitious female founders at speed mentoring events.
The Female Founders Forum was set up to encourage, support and promote female entrepreneurship. It is a joint Barclays and The Entrepreneurs Network project designed to connect some of the UK’s most inspirational women entrepreneurs with those on the cusp of rapid growth.
2016 saw us bring together big name entrepreneurs and host high-level roundtables where experiences around financing a business were shared and practical advice offered to aspiring female founders. Each roundtable was written up into a briefing paper, and the comments were used to form part of our Untapped Unicorns report.
In 2017/18 we are built on the enthusiasm for practically supporting female entrepreneurs, connecting our members with some of the most ambitious female leaders of start-ups at speed mentoring events in London, Manchester and Cambridge. The culmination of this work is our practical Mentoring Matters report. We have exciting plans for 2018/19 – if you’re keen to get involved, sign up to our e-bulletin to be kept updated and get in touch with Annabel Denham if you have any questions.
