Some of the organisations listed below support our work through partnerships or sponsorship, but we only recommend organisations and individuals we genuinely believe are useful to founders.

    • Business.gov.uk provides a central official portal to find government-verified support for starting, running or growing a business, including guides, funding tools and advice.

    • British Library Business & IP Centre (BIPC) provides free training, workshops, market research tools and one-to-one support across the UK’s library network.

    • British Business Bank provides government-backed finance programmes and a Finance Hub to help smaller businesses access loans, equity investment and guarantees.

    • Start Up Loans provides government-backed loans of up to £25,000 alongside free mentoring to help new businesses get off the ground.

    • Finance & Support for Business provides an official searchable resource to find free finance support, training, workshops and loans by business stage and region.
