The Interview: Diane Banks, Founder, Northbank Talent Management

This online event will cover:

  • The value of human capital in an automated world;

  • The unprecedented demand for content and low barriers to entry for creators;

  • Why curation, not content, is ultimately king.

Diane founded literary, broadcast, influencer and speaking agency Northbank Talent Management in 2018, incorporating her previous literary agency Diane Banks Associates and expanding via a combination of a capital raise, strategic hires and acquisition. Northbank is conceived as a modern, full-service agency which has the capability of maximising clients’ potential across all media and territories via a joined-up, strategic approach.

She has a strong interest in domestic policy, currently serving as a non-executive director of the think tank Bright Blue, and an interest in arts policy to which she brings a pro-market approach. She serves on the advisory board of the Conservative Arts & Creative Industries Network, which exists to facilitate dialogue between creative industries practitioners and government; she recently served on the development board of the Ovalhouse Theatre, which commissions new work in response to today’s social and political issues, tasked with successfully raising £11m to move to its new home in Brixton in 2021; and she is a trustee of the Eden Valley Museum.

Diane believes that work has the power to transform lives and, aside from her role as an advisor to The Entrepreneurs’ Network, she is an ambassador for the ex-offender charity Tempus Novo, helping to increase the employment rate amongst former prisoners, and an advisor to The Five Foundation, the global partnership to end FGM and rebuild women's lives through economic empowerment.

This event is free for our Supporters and Advisers. Email events@tenentrepreneurs.org and we will send you a diary invitation.
