Roundtable lunch with Alex Depledge MBE, Entrepreneurship Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer

  • OakNorth Bank 57 Broadwick St, Carnaby, London W1F 9QS (map)

Ahead of the Autumn Budget, The Entrepreneurs Network is hosting a roundtable lunch with Alex Depledge MBE, Entrepreneurship Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The Autumn Budget will set the course for investment in the UK. For scaleups, these decisions will directly affect the ability to raise capital, hire talent, and expand globally.

This private roundtable will bring together a dozen scaleup founders to discuss the conditions needed to build and grow in the UK. The discussion will cover what makes the UK attractive — or unattractive — as a place to scale a business, experiences of fundraising, and the policy changes that could make the biggest difference for growth.

We are delighted to be joined by Alex Depledge MBE, the Treasury’s first Entrepreneurship Adviser, who is tasked with ensuring the voice of entrepreneurs informs government policy.

Participation is by invitation only and limited to founders of scaling businesses with either £10m+ in annual revenue or who have raised £10–15m+ in venture capital funding, working in priority sectors aligned with the government’s Industrial Strategy, specifically for this roundtable:  advanced manufacturing, clean energy industries, creative industries, digital and technologies, and life sciences.

If you meet the criteria and are interested in joining the conversation, please request a place. All of our events are free to attend and lunch will be provided.  Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding accessibility.
