The Entrepreneurs Network and the Jessica Vollman Foundation (JVF) are hosting a select group of internationally ambitious female founders for an off-the-record virtual roundtable on what it takes to build a business that works on both sides of the Atlantic.
This third and final roundtable in the JVF Female Founder Ambition Series focuses on founders who are operating — or seriously planning to operate — in both the UK and the US. The conversation will be chaired by Kajal Sanghrajka, Adviser to The Entrepreneurs Network, Founder of Growth Hub Global. She has supported over 100 companies with global expansion to the US and Middle East . Kajal brings direct experience of building businesses in New York. She , will guide a candid discussion on the transatlantic opportunity at a moment when the UK-US trading relationship is in flux and the stakes for British businesses in the American market have rarely been higher.
The session will include :
What it really takes to build on both sides of the Atlantic;
Accessing US capital and navigating a shifting UK-US policy environment;
What government could do better support internationally ambitious founders.
Attendees will be invited to shape the discussion with their own questions. The Chatham House Rule applies throughout. Following the roundtable, all participants will be connected by email and invited to join our Female Founders WhatsApp group — a community of highly successful women entrepreneurs. They will also join the larger Jessica Vollman Foundation grantee network.
A select number of participants will be invited to be interviewed for our Network Effects series. Insights from across the series will be consolidated into a co-branded briefing paper, shared across The Entrepreneurs Network's network and with media contacts. Participants will only be credited with their permission.
