Dinner with Callum Anderson MP: Reforming Capital Markets to Support an Entrepreneurial Society

As part of our mission to make the UK the best place in the world to start and scale a business, we regularly engage with all of the main Westminster parties to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and policymakers.

At this private dinner, our principal guest is Callum Anderson MP – Labour MP for Buckingham and Bletchley, and Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology.

The dinner will explore how to better unlock capital markets to meet the needs of founders and power an entrepreneurial economy. Points of discussion will likely include mobilising domestic institutional capital for scale-up businesses, improving the path to public markets, and improving regulatory efficiency to support growth.

This event is primarily for established and scaling founders. If you are an entrepreneur or investor and you are interested in contributing to the conversation, please consider requesting a place below.

Our partner for this event is OakNorth. OakNorth is a British bank designed for scaling businesses, offering tailored loans and both business and personal savings accounts. Founded by entrepreneurs Rishi Khosla and Joel Perlman, OakNorth gained regulatory approval in 2015 and has since become a trusted partner for ambitious entrepreneurs.
