The Entrepreneurs Network and Rigby Group are hosting a small roundtable to discuss how government can do a better job of branding the UK as the best place in the world to scale a business.

This is one of a number of roundtable discussions that will feed into the work of our Private Business Commission. This will be a focused discussion. We’re aiming for around eight external attendees – all of whom will have unique expertise in this area. 

At the roundtable we will address the following questions – although we will adapt the talking points to the expertise in the room:

• What are our strengths or areas of opportunity?

• What are our weaknesses or areas of potential decline?

• What has worked well in the past? NB. We will hear from the​ former Director of Communication and Marketing at the UK Government’s Department for International Trade (DIT) who oversaw the GREAT campaign.

• What practical steps should a new government take?
