An Audience with Alex Depledge MBE, the Chancellor’s Entrepreneurship Adviser

Join us for an audience with Alex Depledge, MBE — one of the UK’s most influential entrepreneurs and the Chancellor’s first-ever Entrepreneurship Adviser.

A serial founder, Alex has built and scaled multiple high-growth businesses, including Resi and Hassle.com (later acquired by Helpling), and has long been a leading voice shaping the UK’s startup and scaleup ecosystem.

In her role advising HM Treasury, Alex works directly with the Chancellor to ensure the realities of building and scaling a business are reflected in government policy — focusing on tackling the key barriers founders face, from access to capital and talent, to regulation and growth.

This session offers a rare opportunity for a select group of founders and entrepreneurs to hear candid insights from both sides of the table: what it really takes to build a successful company, and how policy is evolving to support the next generation of high-growth businesses.

After a short introduction, the floor will be opened to the audience, giving attendees the opportunity to ask their own questions directly. When requesting a place, please include a few questions you’d like to raise. While we won’t be able to ask every question on the day, we’ll do our best to cover as many as possible.
